Add VegPro soya chunks and granules to your favourite dishes and supercharge it with the power of plant-based protein
VegPro is here to make your mealtimes easier, tastier – and healthier. Just add VegPro soya chunks and granules to your favourite dishes and supercharge them with the power of plant-based protein. Our soya recipes – made using a variety of our soya products – are quick to make and full of flavour.
Soya chunks, granules and other products are to vegetarians and vegans what chicken and meat are to non-vegetarians: a great source of protein, that’s filling and toothsome. Soya chunks come with a texture similar to meat and meat products, but without the saturated fat and excessive carbon footprint. Soya is also completely plant-based, which means all soya recipes and dishes contain essential vitamins and minerals that are not easily found in meat, eggs and dairy products. Plus, soya chunks offer more fibre and contain enzymes which ease digestion and boost nutrient absorption in the system.
But that’s not the only advantage – soya products are ridiculously easy to add to your diet. They can be consumed in a variety of ways, are shelf-stable and can keep for months. While tofu (also known as soya paneer or bean curd) is seen as a great alternative to paneer and eggs, soya chunks are an even better option, as they don’t require cold storage or refrigeration. Plus, soya chunks and granules cook quickly compared to red meat like mutton and lamb, and don’t require a pressure cooker.
Soya recipes are endlessly versatile – because the primary ingredient (soya chunks, soyabean granules) lend themselves well to practically any kind of cuisine. Use it in a soya makhani curry. Add it to pulao or make biryani for a one-pot meal that has a good mix of carbohydrates, vegetables and protein. You can also make a variety of kebabs or cutlets; or go Italian/European with soya granule “meat”balls. Or, use them to make tasty nuggets that are an alternative to frozen chicken nuggets that contain high levels of trans-fats.
One look at our list of soya recipes and you’ll see just how adaptable this wonder ingredient is. Soya mushroom keema, Sri Lankan-style soya curry, beetroot soya shammi kabab, masaledar soya paratha, and soya chilli garlic are just some of the things you can create with our products. And these are just some of the recipes we have – there are dozens of ways to use soya creatively in the kitchen for savoury recipes, from salads to soups and stews. With our soyabean granules, soya chunks, soya wadi and other products in your pantry – and one of our easy, unfussy soya recipes as your guide, you can have a tasty meal ready in under half an hour!
